Football Update: Tottenham Hotspurs Got Lucky with a Point as Controversial VAR Call Rule McGoldrick's Strike Offside

The weekend premier league match between Tottenham and Sheffield United ended in a controversial manner as Tottenham football club find themselves dropping more points as Sheffield United claim draw to go 5th on EPL table. Though, Sheffield United should have sealed all three points as David McGoldrick's strike was ruled out for offside due to controversial VAR call.
The match ended Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield United, meanwhile, Sheffield United team had made an impressive start and John Lundstram could have broken the deadlock after his curling effort outside the box struck the woodwork.
Despite Sheffield United looking comfortable it was Hotspurs who went ahead with their second shot on target as Heung-min Son collected the ball in the area and slotted it between the legs of Henderson.
Blades almost hit back instantly but David McGoldrick's strike was ruled out by VAR for offside. John Lundstram was cut being fractionally offside in the build-up. Sheffield’s men thought they'd equalized when David McGoldrick turned in a cross by Enda Stevens - only for a three-minute VAR check to rule it out. No Goal.
Sheffield men finally got their rewards when an intended cross by George Baldock (left) deflected off Ben Davies to leave Tottenham winless in five league games dating back to September
